REINICIAL Project aim is to transfer best practices about labour insertion for workers and professionals over 45 years old that have lost their job: the “senior” group. There are five participant organizations in the project from four countries of southern Europe: Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greece. The project takes as starting point what have been learnt in previous experiences that identified difficulties to outplace on the labour market senior professionals over 45 years old. In this sense, REINICIAL seeks to build on a methodological approach grounded on knowledge obtained through previous programs about the problems and needs to be addressed in the process of outplace the group of Senior people. These may be, among others:
Departing from the experiences transferred, and from the Benchmarking at European level, the project may facilitate the generation of know-how to train the technician body who gives attention to the new group. REINICIAL will lead also to the development of a pilot training to test and validate the methodological devices built up. Ultimate goal is to promote common methodologies and tools for action in the process of relocating Seniors at European level. Project results should be useful to improve the skills and responsiveness of care and counselling technicians and devices in the process of outplace of this group with specific needs, keeping the coherence of their career, increasing confidence in themselves, and reducing job searching timescale. This may lead ultimately to an increase of business productivity and reputation (RSC), thanks to the experience and skills these senior professionals and workers have acquired throughout their career.
