The research project LINKAGE promotes the sharing of best practices for inclusion of young workers and seniors.
Anna Delclòs, director of Fundació Cecot Persona i Treball, participated on December 13th 2013 in the final conference of the LINKAGE initiative, hold in the UB’s Faculty of Geography and History. She was invited to the Round Table about social dialogue and labour integration of the more vulnerable age groups in the European Union. Delclòs based her speech on Cecot’s experience in intermediation projects focused in people older than 45. Transfer of Reincial project, currently ongoing, was one of the experiences shared by Cecot. The project is funded by the European Union through the Leonardo Da Vinci program. Other FCPiT projects explained by Delclòs in the Round Table were those focused in the New Poor Collective – which often is widely formed by over 45 years old people-. Among the experts invited as speakers were specialized researchers in labour politics addressed to vulnerable age groups, coming from Belgium, Finland, United Kingdom and Italy, representing organizations like the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Age Platform Europe, Aston University and Ca´Foscari University of Venice respectively.
